Description:

Cambridge Muslim Homeschool Network (CMH Network) is a local community network set up by Muslim homeschooling families around Cambridge, England to support, connect, and bring people together for educational, social, and Islamic activities. It’s run by a volunteer elected committee with roles like co‑ordinators, secretary, and treasurer, and operates with its own constitution and policies.

The network is not a co‑op school — families still educate their own children independently. Instead, CMH acts as a communication and collaboration hub for homeschoolers in the area.

📚 Activities & Learning Opportunities

The network organises a range of weekly and occasional activities for children and families, blending educational enrichment, Islamic values, and social engagement:

Weekly events include:

Nasheed singing & daff (drum) sessions

Bushcraft / outdoor learning

Tech studio / creative classes

Multi Sport

Imam Ghazali classes at Cambridge Central Mosque
(All with a focus on both fun and learning.)

Other activities & trips:

Monthly family nature walks

Termly group field trips

Annual national and international trips

Special events like animal day and Eid celebrations with competitions and food from around the world.

Upcoming or recent examples on their calendar include an eco‑day, visits to a recycling centre, and outdoor volunteering like tree planting.
